*12 MONTH AQUA PROTECT GUARANTEE: Johnstone’s Professional Timber Oil is guaranteed against peeling, flaking and blistering for 12 months if used in accordance with printed directions on pack and applied to suitable and properly prepared surfaces. If this guarantee is not met, we will replace the product or refund your money. This guarantee is given by PPG Industries Australia Pty Limited and applies to defects in the manufacture or formulation of the product. This guarantee does not cover peeling, flaking and blistering caused by failure of previously applied products, contaminated substrates, unsound problems caused by environmental or underlying structural issues, or product failure caused by other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for the cost of labour or any other direct or indirect loss or damage arising from a breach of this guarantee. Customers are responsible for all costs of claiming under this guarantee. To claim, customers must write to us or call our Customer Service number to request a claim form. The benefits provided by this guarantee are in addition to other rights and remedies under the law. If you are a consumer within the meaning of the Australian or New Zealand Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law and Consumer Guarantees Act, respectively. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
